5 apps I think everyone should download

Disclaimer: This post is not sponsored by any of these apps - these apps may not work on every device but there are so many out there that probably have the same function these are just my favorites

1. Buycott

This app allows you to select causes that are important to you, such as, avoiding companies that support tr*mp, boycott NRA supporting companies, and campaigns against animal testing. All of these campaigns and more are yours for the choosing. After that, you can scan the barcodes of anything at a store and see if that company gets flagged for supporting something you are trying to boycott. Small steps can make a huge difference.

2. Bearable & Round

Bearable is an app that lets you track your activity, sleep, anxiety levels, and all other symptoms. You can customize it to work with anything that bothers you. It is nice because it has a calendar view where you can see all your flare-up days.

Round is a pill tracker app. You can enter any medication you take, the dosage, time that you take it, and add as many medications as you need. As someone who takes pills in the morning and at night this is super helpful to remember. This also has a calendar view where you can see the days if you missed a dose.

3. Miiriya

This is the perfect way for people to put their money where their mouth is. This is an all Black-owned website. It has everything from food, beauty products, fashion, and decor. Anyone can spare an extra 30 seconds to make this a bookmark instead of Amazon. Support Black-owned shops no matter what.

4. ClutchSOS

This app is a safety app. If you think you may be being followed or there is someone putting your safety at risk this is an app that should be on your "important row" of apps. Through this app, you are able to stream everything going on around you. It discreetly records your surroundings, sends your locations to a select list of contacts, allows said contacts to hear the recording in real-time, and even speak to you. It also allows you to call 911 without talking and automatically sends them your location. It shares your location, date, audio recording, and texts even if your phone dies.

5. Skyview

This app is a really cool app for people who love to look at the stars. You can hold your phone up to the sky and it will tell you what constellation, planet, or star system you are looking at. It is a really neat app but don't give in and pay for the premium, you can get everything from the free version.
