Website & Blog Pro (not pro at all) - Tips

Hi, so if you are like me you had no idea what HTML is, or how to sell products online, or how to write I am here to give you the -

website & blog 100% NOT PRO tips

Below I will include a list of all the software I used for my two websites:
Blogger (this)
Google Sites (my shop)
Ecwid (for selling products)

BLOG:

So Blogger is pretty easy to understand and there are countless videos on youtube that show you how to do everything related to this. But since you love reading what I write (hopefully) I will give you my important tips. The website is super well laid out. On each of the tabs you can find your posts, there is a folder for drafts, published, and scheduled.

There is also another tab that is full of extensions for different pages you can have on your site.

I couldn't include it on here because I can't put videos up here but on the layout tab and the theme tab. You can truly customize your blog to whatever you want. You can also import themes from the internet, and initially they seem nicer and cooler looking. But you don't have the ability to customize them all that well. I tried that at first and it wouldn't adapt for a tablet or phone POV.

PRODUCTS:

For my website, I had this huge vision of what I wanted it to look like, and working with Ecwid, I have accomplished that.

Through Ecwid I am able to sell all my products. I have the ability to see how many people view my site, how many people put things in their cart, and how much revenue I have made.  The dashboard page also gives you helpful blogs written by Ecwid users, these include different marketing techniques, how to expand your brand, and everything to help you.

On the sales page you get to see every sale. It is super well organized and it includes their name, address, how they paid, what shipping they picked, their products, customizations, and total cost. On this page I also have the ability to change the status of their order, so once I start working on the order, I will switch "awaiting processing" to "process" and after I ship it I can enter the tracking number and it sends my customers an email with their tracking number.

Once you enter all your products and work through the customizations you can add your products to your site through the HTML <embed> feature on the software you are using.

The only problem that I have with Ecwid is that it is an "upgrade to get more" type of software. So for me I am on the free plan. This doesn't have all the feature that I would like but it still allows me to sell my products. I would love to upgrade one day but at this moment I am waiting until I can have a profit income each week that will compensate for the features I am going to have.

WEBSITE:

For my website I use Google Sites, this is a totally free and very simple software. Through this you can literally make your website to whatever you want it to. This is such a simple platform to use and it is very self explanatory. I love it. I have been able to build the website that I envisioned from the beginning of starting this journey.

This post is not sponsored by any of these sites. But they should sponsor me haha. If you have any questions about any of these sites I am more than happy to send you a screen recording of me running through all the functions. Go check out my sites!!
